A thin section of polished metamorphic rock containing silicates, sulfides and other minor minerals is shown in the map below. Of particular interest are the maps of Chlorine, Potassium, and Titanium: elements that would have been missed without Revolution's implementation of Maximum Pixel Spectrum. The Chlorine and Potassium maps suggest the presence of Potassium Chloride particles.
