System hardware: Universal Spectral EngineTM
The hardware is enclosed in a stand-alone unit that has a small footprint (8.5 x 15.5 x 19 inches). It contains all of the required hardware for digital image acquisition and scan-control, a power supply, and Ethernet card. The unit interfaces to any Windows® or Macintosh® computer that has an Ethernet port. A custom cable interfaces the unit to the SEM's external scan controls.
System software: 4pi Revolution® Imaging Module
The software is fully multi-tasking with easy-to-use point-and-click screen tools. Images can be printed directly from the program. Purchases include free upgrades via download from 4pi's web site.
